credit cards
Your friend says maybe you should get a credit card. You know that the
card lets you buy things even when you don’t have to the money to pay for it. But you’re not too sure cuz you’ve heard all these stories about maxing out and getting in debt way long before
you get your real pay check. You don’t want to be paying off one credit card with another credit card. So before you
make debt a full time career-check out the facts.
CREDIT CARD FACTS
- Get the card you need, don’t
go for reward points or be seduced by interest rate deals.
- Ask yourself if
you’ll use the card and pay it off straight away or just build up debt.
- Make
sure you pay it back (it’s not free money, it’s a LOAN)
- If you’re in trouble
and can’t pay – get some help from financial counsellors or call DOCEP on 1300 30 40 54
