1. About accredited assessors
Assessments under the WorkSafe Plan are conducted by accredited private occupational safety and health consultants.
A training program for persons who wish to become WorkSafe Plan Assessors has been developed in conjunction with the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP). Further information on the training course is available under the heading Accredited Assessor Training Program.
To become a registered WorkSafe Plan Assessor, the applicant, after completing the training and their first WorkSafe Plan Assessment under the guidance of a Senior WorkSafe Plan Assessor, will submit a copy of that plan to WorkSafe. WorkSafe will advise the applicant if their assessment was acceptable and include an application form for registration. A once only registration fee is charged by WorkSafe and is adjusted by CPI each year.

This directory will be updated periodically. Any additions or amendments should be forwarded by email to safety@commerce.wa.gov.au.
