ULP price alert – start of new price cycle in Perth

FuelWatch is encouraging Perth motorists to buy their petrol today or tomorrow while cheaper prices are still available and to always check petrol prices before they buy.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 23 September 2009, most BP sites in Perth are increasing their ULP price to 129.9 cents per litre (cpl), an increase of 16 cpl. This signals the start of a new petrol price cycle in Perth.

Some Caltex sites in the Mandurah area are also increasing their price tomorrow by up to 13.4 cpl to 127.9 cpl.  Motorists in that area are advised to shop around for the cheapest prices before filling up.

Tomorrow, over 185 (64%) Perth petrol stations are selling below the metropolitan average of 117.6 cpl. 

Tomorrow’s cheapest ULP is available for

  •        112.9 cpl at 5 sites  in the East;
  •        111.9 cpl at 11 sites in the North; and
  •        111.9 cpl at 11 sites in the South.
  •        112.9 cpl at 2 sites in Mandurah
