ULP price alert - start of new price cycle in Perth

FuelWatch is encouraging Perth motorists to buy their petrol today or tomorrow while cheaper prices are still available and to always check petrol prices before they buy.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 15 July 2009, some BP sites are increasing their ULP prices by up to 16 cents per litre (cpl) to 129.9 cpl. A number of Caltex sites are also increasing their ULP prices up to 14 cpl to 128.9 cpl. This signals the start of a new petrol price cycle in Perth.
Prices in Perth are expected to increase over the next few days as other retailers follow the lead of BP and Caltex. By the weekend prices should start to decrease continue falling into the early part of next week.
194 (67%) petrol stations are selling below the metropolitan average of 117.9 cpl tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s cheapest ULP is available for
- 111.9 cpl at 2 sites in the East;
- 111.9 cpl at 20 sites in the North; and
- 109.9 cpl at 2 sites in the South.
