Petrol Price Hike 16 October

Tomorrow (16 October 2008) Caltex are increasing the price of unleaded petrol (ULP) by up to 12 cents per litre (cpl) to 157.9 cpl at a number of their metropolitan sites. This follows similar price movements by Caltex and BP over the last couple of days.

The average price of ULP across Perth tomorrow will be 148.5 cpl, however more than 200 outlets will still be selling for less than this price.

FuelWatch is encouraging motorists to buy their petrol today or tomorrow while
cheaper prices are still available and to check petrol prices before they buy.

Motorists are encouraged to buy their fuel from retailers who maintain cheaper
prices.

In the Eastern suburbs tomorrow the cheapest fuel can be purchased from Caltex Woolworths Forrestfield for 144.1 cpl.

In the Northern suburbs tomorrow the cheapest fuel can be purchased from
Caltex Woolworths Morley Galleria for 143.9 cpl.

And South of the river tomorrow the cheapest fuel can be purchased from Caltex Woolworths Riverton for 140.9 cpl.
