WorkSafe investigates death of man at Carabooda

WorkSafe is investigating the work-related death of a 48-year-old farmer at Carabooda. The incident was reported to WorkSafe yesterday afternoon.
It is believed that a slasher connected to a tractor fell on the man, crushing him.
A WorkSafe inspector traveled to the site yesterday to investigate the circumstances.
WorkSafe thoroughly investigates serious work-related injuries and deaths in WA with a view to preventing future incidents of a similar nature.
WorkSafe WA Commissioner Nina Lyhne said any work-related death was a tragedy, and relayed her sincere condolences to the man’s family.
