WorkSafe investigates death of worker at Manjimup
WorkSafe is investigating the work-related death of a 68-year-old farmer near Manjimup this morning.
The man was believed to have been felling trees on his farm when he was struck and killed by a falling branch.
WorkSafe inspectors have traveled to the site and will investigate the circumstances.
WorkSafe thoroughly investigates all serious work-related injuries and deaths in WA with a view to preventing future incidents of a similar nature.
WorkSafe WA Commissioner Nina Lyhne said any work-related death was a tragedy, and relayed her sincere condolences to the man’s family.
