Visit Fair Trading stand at Business Opportunities Expo

Prospective business people should visit the Ministry of Fair Trading stand at the Business Opportunities Expo 2001, which starts tomorrow (May 4) at Burswood Dome, Burswood.

Ministry staff will be on hand to offer advice on how to go about setting up a business and registering a business name.

Patrons will also be able to find out what business names are already used, what names are available to them and whether the Ministry will accept their suggestion for a business name.

Ministry staff will provide prospective business people with the necessary forms and literature to register, change, renew or cancel a business name.

The stand will also feature brochures for businesses about retail trading hours, refunds, lay-bys, advertising and weights and measures.

The Business Opportunities Expo 2001 runs from May 4 to 6, from 10am to 5pm daily.
