Easter and Anzac Day trading hours

Following a recommendation by the Retail Shops Advisory Committee, the following retail trading hours have been approved for the Easter/Anzac Day period.

 - Thursday 12 April ­ Late night trading to 9pm has been approved for general retail shops in the Perth Tourism Precinct, consistent with trading hours in the Metropolitan area.
 - Friday 13 April ­ Statutory public holiday, general retail shops closed.
 - Saturday 14 April ­ Normal Saturday trading hours, 8am ­ 5pm.
 - Sunday 15 April (Easter Sunday) ­ General retail shops in the Perth and Fremantle tourism precincts may trade between from 12noon ­ 6pm.
 - Monday 16 April (Easter Monday) ­ Statutory public holiday, general retail shops closed.
 - Wednesday 25 April (Anzac Day) - Statutory public holiday, general retail shops closed.

(These trading hours do not apply to motor vehicle dealers or to general shops in the localities of Rockingham and Yanchep/Two Rocks, where specific extended trading orders continue to apply).

Exempted general shops (small shops) and special shops throughout the state may trade each day of the year.

Outside the metropolitan area Local Governments can apply to vary their trading hours to best suit community needs.
