ThinkSafe wins award
WorkSafe is pleased to announce that the ThinkSafe Small Business Assistance Program has won the 2007 Premier's Award category for Better Services.
WorkSafe, WorkCover, the Small Business Development Corporation and peak industry associations have joined forces to help Western Australia's small businesses tackle the critical issue of work place health and safety.
Since the inception of the program in 2005 more than 1000 small businesses have taken up the offer of assistance across WA. ThinkSafe's success relies on an innovative structure that recognises that consultation and collaboration with stakeholders, and gaining the trust of small business, are key ingredients to success, while flexibility in delivery extends the programs reach.
