Agricultural workbook
The Agriculture workbook should be read in conjunction with the Agricultural safety and health checklist.
This workbook has been developed to assist people in the agricultural sector to reduce the likelihood of injuries and detrimental affects to health occurring where they work. The workbook can either be downloaded or relevant pages accessed from links within the checklist.
The resource is comprehensive and user friendly, to ensure that the time you spend in making your workplace safe and healthy is well spent.
How to use this resource
Put this address in your ‘favourites’ with other important information relating to your property, like manuals and business information. That way you will remember to use it regularly.
Step One: Print the checklist to take with you on the property or complete the online version and use it to identify hazards and assess how safe your property is.
Print extra copies when you need to do another inspection.
Step Two: Where hazards are identified on your property use the workbook to obtain additional information on each of the items on the checklist and useful tips for you to improve safety management, along with further information sources.
