BioGENEius Challenge
A biotechnology research program aimed at motivated and talented high school students.
The BioGENEius Challenge provides an opportunity for motivated and talented high school students to undertake outstanding research in the field of biotechnology.
Participating students are paired with one of WA’s world-class biotechnology scientists who will mentor them through a high-level biotechnology research project.
Each year, two students’ research projects will be competitively selected to compete in the sanofi-aventis International BioGENEius Challenge held in the USA.
The BioGENEius Challenge is run in the USA by the Biotechnology Institute. Since 2002, the Biotechnology Institute has developed the competition to include six regional competitions across the USA as well as Canada.
