Legislation and policy
The Minister for Energy; Resources; Industry and Enterprise and the Department of Industry and Resources administer the following acts:
- Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act 1967 (WA)
- Petroleum Pipelines Act 1969 (WA).
Offshore petroleum safety legislation is administered by the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority.
