Work Life Balance Best Practice Seminar
The Work Life Balance Best Practice Seminar was held by Labour Relations on 25 June 2008. The seminar aimed to showcase best practice work life balance and pay equity initiatives from around Australia. The seminar was attended by 200 people.

Speakers Presentation from the Fathers @ Work Seminar 30 August 2007
Today's fathers are choosing to play a more active role in their children's lives. Employers who support this choice are more likely to attract and retain these employees in Western Australia's tight labour market.
In recognition of this work life balance issue, Commerce's Labour Relations Division hosted a breakfast seminar to promote work life balance for working dads by outlining strategies to help businesses build father friendly workplaces.
Speakers at the seminar included Craig Walkemeyer, father of five and senior Alcoa executive who has recently restructured his job into a part-time role to spend more time with his family and Graeme Russell, academic, author and industry consultant on work life balance, particularly for fathers. Papers from the Work Life Balance Conference 2006
In February 2006 Labour Relations hosted a highlighly successful conference on Work Life Balance. The Conference focussed on equipping organisations to recognise how flexibility in work arrangements can assist in meeting the challenges of attracting and retaining a better workforce for today and for the future.
