The Pay Equity Unit is the only specialist unit addressing gender pay issues in any Australian jurisdiction.
The Pay Equity Unit is working in partnership with business and industry stakeholders to address pay equity.
The key aims of the Unit are to:
- raise awareness within business and the community about pay equity through education and training; and
- to work with public and private sector employers to implement pay equity audits and other strategies to remove barriers to workforce participation and career progression for female employees.
