Fuel price advice for Perth drivers
Issue Date: - Wednesday, 28 December 2011
Fill up today if you want to pay less for your petrol - that's the advice from FuelWatch.
On Thursday 29 December 2011, most Coles Express, Caltex, Caltex Woolworths and BP sites are increasing their ULP price up to 12 cents per litre (cpl) to a maximum of 145.9 cpl. Most Gull and Peak sites are also raising their prices between 9 and 10 cpl.
Tomorrow's metropolitan ULP average will be 143.0 cpl, however, there will be over 60 Perth sites selling below 140.0 cpl.
Given that Perth ULP prices follow a weekly cycle, with Thursday and Friday being the most expensive days, FuelWatch recommends filling up today and paying no more than 135.2 cpl.
Wednesday's cheapest ULP is available for:
- 132.6 cpl at six sites in the East;
- 131.4 cpl at two sites in the South; and
- 131.4 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Whitfords in the North.
Thursday's cheapest ULP is available for:
- 130.9 cpl at Gull Karragullen Motors in the East;
- 130.9 cpl at Gull Warnbro in the South; and
- 130.9 cpl at Gull North Perth in the North.
FuelWatch advises drivers to ALWAYS check the price of petrol before they buy.
