Consumers Have Their Say on New Act

The Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, working together with consulting firm Stamfords Advisors Consultants, wants to hear from those who are interested in the Review of the Residential Tenancies Act.

“The Government has arranged a number of public meetings to enable tenants, landlords, real estate agents, park home owners, caravan park operators, and other stakeholders to be consulted prior to making changes to the Act.

It is very important for us to hear the voices of everyone who wishes to contribute”, Consumer Protection Commissioner Patrick Walker said.

Public meetings will be held in Midland, Perth and Fremantle on:

Tuesday 9th April, 6pm - 8pm (Midland Town Hall, Great Eastern Highway, Midland, corner Spring Park Road)
Monday 15th April, 5.30pm - 7:30pm (State Library Theatre, Alexander Library Building, Francis Street, Northbridge)
Friday 19th April, 6pm - 8pm (Fremantle Town Hall, 8 William Street, Fremantle)
