Teachers' Resources
The Buy My Duck Teachers’ resource kit contains print resources to help you engage students in the competition and simultaneously instruct them in important life skills.
The material in the print resources provides WA teachers with classroom activities which link to the National Curriculum (Statements of Learning) and to WA Learning Outcomes.
The activities have been designed to meet a wide range of curriculum requirements. Not only will they assist you to meet core curriculum standards, but the additional enterprise learning nature of the activities will allow you to fulfil compulsory civic and community curriculum requirements.
The activities are an innovative comprehensive unit of work designed to engage students in process and problem solving activities.
They are split into:
- Primary school activities for years 3 to 7 – an integrated program of classroom activities has been developed across the disciplines of
Society and Environment, Technology and Enterprise, English and Maths providing you with maximum flexibility; and
- High school activities for years 8 to 12
